Everything from our house-made hot sauce, to our irresistibly crispy home fries is freshly sautéed, glazed, braised, and hollandaised in-house.

We always start with the best ingredients sourced from our incredible community of local providers to serve a meal that will delight you with flavor. The Early Bird Eatery was started by a husband-wife duo who opened their doors in 2018 with the mission of crafting crave-worthy brunch classics. Chef Mike and business manager Jenn consistently serve guests who are hungry for a fresh take on traditional breakfast cuisine.

Bennett Farms

A small farm with large ambitions to provide quality food with exceptional flavor at a fair price. All of their animals are raised in a low stress environment with love and high standards of animal welfare.
Jake's Country Meats

The hickory smoked ham used in our menu is pasture raised, without the use of antibiotics or nitrates. The Robinson family has been farming for seven generations in Cass County, MI.
Sunchoke Farms

At Sunchoke Farms, they grow sclean, crisp, nutrient-packed greens with the highest quality standards. They take pride in growing food they’re proud to serve their own family—and that you’ll be proud to serve yours.
Dodd's Sugar Shack

Our maple syrup is sourced locally from Dodd’s Sugar Shack in Niles, Michigan. Dodd’s has been in existence for over 100 years and is still producing wonderful Michigan maple syrup.
Infusco Coffee

Our house coffee, the Early Bird blend is from Infusco Coffee Roasters, a pure, single-origin coffee, slow roasted in Sawyer, MI. Slow roasting provides a richer tasting coffee. Coffee is delivered weekly at the peak of its flavor.
Violet Sky Chocolate

The chocolate for our mochas and hot chocolates is produced by Violet Sky Chocolate, a hand crafted, bean-to-bar chocolate operation located across the river from us in South Bend.
Uncommon Coffee Roasters

Our cold brew coffee is roasted and brewed by Uncommon Coffee Roasters. Started as Uncommon Grounds in Saugatuck in 1994, it’s an NGLCC Certified LGBT Business Enterprise. they continue to partner with coffee farmers around the world–including many female farmers--to bring ethically sourced and environmentally responsible coffee to Saugatuck and the midwest.
Bit of Swiss Bakery

Our breads are fresh baked and delivered twice a week from Bit of Swiss Bakery in Stevensville, MI. Started in 1967 as a small shop baking bread for Tosi’s restaurant, their quality and attention to detail is award winning, which means great breads for our customers.
Horn of Plenty

Our chicken thighs come from Horn of Plenty, a cooperative of small family farms in Indiana working together to bring high-quality, organically grown food to local communities. Their work supports regenerative farming practices that care for the soil, protect the environment, and help sustain the next generation of local farmers.
